The Project Technical Manager Role

SESAMm, in partnership with one of the largest insurance firms in Europe, is seeking a Project Technical Manager to join an exciting AI platform integration project. This initiative is at the forefront of ESG analysis, aiming to enhance data-driven decision-making.

As a Project Technical Manager, you will act as the primary technical liaison between our clients and internal teams. You will lead client-facing technical discussions, gather and translate requirements, and drive the integration of our product into client environments. Your strong technical background will allow you to architect solutions and execute no-code implementations, including the design and optimization of AI prompts where necessary.

Important: While this position is offered as a permanent contract, it is also available as a 24-month VIE based in Munich.

Key Responsibilities 

• Client Technical Liaison: Lead discovery and design workshops with client technical teams to understand their workflows, pain points, and integration objectives. Translate client requirements into clear technical and business needs for internal engineering and product teams. Track and follow needs, deadlines, risks and ensure a transparent follow-up with internal and external stakeholders.
• No-Code Development & Prompt Engineering: Prototype and build integration workflows using no-code platform (e.g., Bubble, Zapier, n8n) to validate designs rapidly. Design, test, and refine AI prompts to power advanced features, ensuring high accuracy and client satisfaction.
• Internal Coordination: Identify and engage the right subject-matter experts (Product Owner, Developers, ESG specialists, AI Engineers) across our organization based on client needs. Communicate effectively with the adequate teams and coordinate on a regular basis.
• Solution Delivery & Support: Oversee end-to-end delivery of integration projects, from kickoff through go-live and post-launch optimization.
  Provide technical support and troubleshooting for integrations, including monitoring performance and implementing enhancements.

Desired Background and Skills

Education

• Master’s degree in AI, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

• Prior experience (1-2 years) in AI, Finance or Data Science fields. Familiarity with financial services, ESG, or insurance industries is advantageous but not required.
• Minimum of 24 months of experience, including internships

Skills

• A solid understanding of the LLM ecosystem, and familiarity with prompt engineering. Interest in AI tools is also beneficial.
• Ability to develop software or use no-code platforms, with a technical understanding of API usage and data format (JSON, …).
• Skilled at explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in English is required; French or German is a plus.
• Rigor, communication skills and transparency to lead a project in a complex environment
