BI & Data Analyst | Merivale

The Role

We are looking for a BI & Data Analyst. This role is ideal for an analytically driven IT professional, who has experience with Power BI and data architecture platforms. Working within the Technology Data Team and the wider Technology team at Merivale to assist with the day-to-day operational running of the data department and associated Power BI dashboard and underlying architecture.

Great communication is a must when working across multiple departments and dealing with non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage and manage 1st & 2nd level BI & Data Analytics support tickets.
• Operational support to the BI & Data Analytics Team, and assisting wider technology teams, including project teams, as necessary.
• Preparing training manuals and FAQ materials for easy-access end-user guidance.
• Regular maintenance and monitoring of scheduled jobs with a view to assisting with automation.
• Collaborating with internal technology departments to ensure that system needs are met.

Essentials

• 1-2 yrs experience in Power BI, BI & Data Architecture, and Microsoft automation tools.
• 2-3 yrs experience working in or with Service Desk Teams
• Relevant tertiary qualification in IT an advantage
• Exposure to working in a fast paced, high-pressure environment an advantage
• Effective time management skills
• Ability to work independently but also as part of a wider department.
