GFin team or the Grab Financial Group, focuses on providing financial services and solutions within the Grab ecosystem. They work on different products like GrabPay, insurance, and lending services, aiming to enhance the financial experience for our users.

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a experienced Senior Analyst, GFin Credit Risk to join our team in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. You will assess and manage credit risk for our financial institution, ensuring the stability and profitability of our lending portfolio.

You will report to Manager, GrabFin Credit Risk & Repayments.

You will work onsite at HCM City.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Conduct risk assessments and analyses to identify potential risks in our lending portfolio
• Develop credit risk models and scoring systems to support lending decisions
• Monitor and report on credit risk metrics, trends, and goals
• Collaborate with other departments to implement risk management strategies and policies
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure compliance in all credit risk activities
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management on credit risk findings
• Contribute to the development and improvement of credit risk assessment processes and methodologies
• Perform deep-dive analysis to explore any opportunity for growth

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
• More than 5 years of experience in credit risk analysis or a similar role within the banking or financial services industry
• Experience about analytical tools
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment techniques
• Advanced skills in Microsoft excel (can perform complex functions) and experience with data analysis software such as SAS, R, or Python
• In-depth knowledge of credit scoring models and risk management principles
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements in the banking industry
• Have ability to present complex information
• Knowledge of Vietnamese financial markets and regulations
