What We Need
As a Senior Data Product Owner, you’ll lead the development and delivery of data products that drive efficiency, insight, and value across multiple business domains. You will engage with senior stakeholders and executives across the organization to shape strategy, define priorities, and guide the execution of impactful data solutions. This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to leadership and a clear path for career advancement. You’ll work cross-functionally with Data Engineering, BI, and Analytics teams to transform stakeholder needs into actionable products - helping unlock new opportunities and scale insights across Yum!.
This is an ideal role for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, business, and technology - and is looking to grow into larger leadership roles in data product strategy or enterprise data transformation.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the product owner for a portfolio of data products, working across business units to define and deliver solutions that support key strategic priorities.
- Engage directly with executive stakeholders to understand business goals, define requirements, and communicate data-driven recommendations.
- Build and maintain product roadmaps that drive high-priority data initiatives forward, ensuring alignment with Yum!’s digital and data strategy.
- Identify and address gaps in data quality, availability, and usage - partnering with Data Governance and technical teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Translate complex data needs into scalable pipelines, reporting tools, and analytics capabilities that inform decision-making at all levels.
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication, shared goals, and measurable outcomes.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in data product management, analytics, or related fields, with a strong track record of cross-functional delivery.
- Proven ability to work closely with senior leaders and executives, including preparing and presenting high-impact insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of data infrastructure, engineering, and BI/analytics workflows.
- Ability to think strategically and execute with precision in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for continuous learning and a desire to grow into broader data or product leadership roles.
Salary Range: $118,600 to $139,400 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors
