In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.
Responsibilities

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with Technical and Non-technical stakeholders.

Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices.

Gather user requirements and identify new features.

Provide data management support to users.

Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements.
-
Research and suggest new database products, services and protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

BE/B Tech/MCA
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
-
Experience in handling data projects using database on prem and cloud, ETL technologies.
-
Solid Experience and understanding of implementing largescale Data Warehousing Programs and E2E Data integration solutions on Snowflake Cloud & Informatica Power center integrated with Multiple relational Databases like Teradata, DB2, SQL Server.
-
Hands-on experience working with various Teradata Utilities and tools, including Bteq, Fastload, Multiload, Procedures, and Macro’s. Also, should be proficient in performance turning.

Hands-on experience in building ETL applications using Informatica PowerCenter in an enterprise data warehouse environment.
-
Strong SQL and database programming skills including creating views, stored procedures, triggers, implementing referential integrity, as well as designing and coding for performance.
-
Competency with Unix/Linux programming (Shell and/or Python).
-
Good working knowledge in Python will be an added advantage.

Understanding of requirements of large enterprise applications (security, entitlements, etc.)
-
Exposure to DevOps processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.).
-
Experience on container-based deployments using Docker, Working with Docker Images etc..

Experience with working in an Agile squad/chapter setup and exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high quality development environment.

Good communication and leadership skills.
-
Promote Development Standards, Best Practices, Solution Accelerators and Re-usable components for design and delivery assurance.

Organization, discipline, detail-orientation, self-motivation, and focused on delivery.

Prior experience in the Financial Industry.

Experience in building applications using Teardata & Informatca.
-
Shell Scripting knowledge.
-
Understanding of real-time streaming and microservices architecture.

Hadoop eco system (e.g., Hive, Pyspark) knowledge is added advantage.
The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is [$80,000 to $100,000]. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
