HOW YOU’LL DO IT:

As our Data Engineer, you'll be the powerhouse behind our data infrastructure. Your key focus will be on:

• Building and enhancing data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools like Airflow or NiFi to ensure fast, reliable data flow across systems.
• Maintaining our data warehouse, optimising large datasets, and ensuring integration with key platforms and users.
• Driving data governance, ensuring we’re always compliant with legislation, privacy standards, and internal best practices.
• Collaborating with developers and stakeholders, building solutions that meet real-world business requirements — from data ingestion to disaster recovery protocols.
• You’ll work in a hybrid cloud environment (ideally GCP or AWS), use modern scripting languages (Python, MySQL, Bash), and version with Git — all while fine-tuning and future-proofing our data landscape.

ABOUT YOU:

You’re a proactive problem-solver with at least 3 years of experience in a Data Engineering role. You’re not just technically savvy — you’re a collaborator who loves seeing their work empower decision-makers. Specifically, you’ll bring:

• Proven experience with ETL tools (Airflow/NiFi preferred).
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms — GCP or AWS.
• A strong grasp of data warehousing and modelling concepts.
• Solid scripting chops in Python, MySQL, PowerShell or Bash.
• Comfort operating in Linux environments and using Git for version control.
• A commitment to quality, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Certifications in Data Engineering or Big Data? That’s a bonus we love.
