We are now looking for a Concept Lead, Data and Analytics, RTR Process Development. The position is located in Tampere or Helsinki, Finland.

What you will do 
 
In the Concept Lead role you will develop and implement data governance, analytics practices and concepts in record-to-report (RTR) process. In addition, as a member of RTR Data & Analytics team, you work closely with other data and analytics experts as well as process owners to create solutions and provide insights. 

 

Your main tasks include: 

  • Lead the development of data governance practices in record-to-report area, in alignment with UPM strategy and guidelines. Coach people in the implementation of the practices 

  • Gather business requirements for data and analytical solutions and turn them into global RTR analytics concepts 

  • Work with senior analysts to design and develop RTR data products, analytical solutions and defined data driven insights 

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of an AI enabled reporting engine. Participate in other development initiatives where your expertise is required 

  • Communicate, train and provide support to enable a data-oriented organization 

  • Manage RTR data & report catalogue and other relevant documentation in cooperation with different stakeholders 

  • Actively look for continuous improvement in close co-operation with process owners, service delivery teams and other stakeholders 

 

 

Who you are 

  • You have experience in data management and governance as well as making data and its value understandable on various levels of the organization 

  • You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills and the ability to think outside the box 

  • You understand finance processes and accounting related data concepts. Understanding of finance data in SAP systems is regarded as beneficial 

  • You are familiar with the different steps in the analytics value chain and how raw data is turned into valuable insights 

  • You have excellent influencing, collaboration and presentation skills in a global organization 

  • You have good skills in project and change management 

  • You are fluent in English, both written and verbal
