Summary

The Data Analyst is a key contributor in firm’s data strategy, driving innovation and automation, utilizing advanced analytics techniques to inform decision-making process. We are seeking a curious, technically skilled and forward-thinking Data Analyst, who is passionate about AI innovation and eager to contribute to enterprise-wide data strategy initiatives. This role is a key driver in large-scale analytical projects, requiring collaboration with stakeholders to prioritize business problems and utilizes tools, such as Power BI and Copilot, to deliver high-impact analytics, AI-ready modeling, dashboarding and reporting. 

Key skills include demonstrated proficiency in AI enablement and readiness, Copilot Studio, Power BI, SQL, Python, DAX, advanced data analysis, data visualization and SSRS report development.

Location

This position is located in our Reston, Washington D.C., New York, or Short Hills offices and offers a hybrid work schedule.

    

Responsibilities  

  • Design, prototype, and deploy AI agents (e.g., chatbots, scenario simulators, summarization tools) to support finance and analytics workflows.

  • Collaborate with the Director of Data Analytics and FP&A leadership to identify automation opportunities using AI/ML.

  • Investigate causes data quality issues and utilize data stewardship techniques and latest technologies to drive solutions.

  • Develop AI-ready data models to leverage copilot integrations, assist in modernizing current data models for AI-readiness.

  • Design, develop and document solutions to streamline processes, enhance data quality, and drive intelligent solutions.

  • Key driver in research and evaluation of new operational solutions and technologies.

  • Develop and maintain data reporting tools and systems, utilizing the firm's data analytics platform (Power BI).

  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to drive strategic decision-making.

  • Develop predictive models to forecast future trends, client behaviors, and market opportunities, helping the firm stay ahead of the competition.

  • Contribute to the team’s AI knowledge base by sharing learnings, testing new tools, and helping train others.

  • Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with different departments (e.g., marketing, finance, legal) to understand their data needs, provide insights, and support data-driven decision-making processes.

Desired Skills 
Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or agent frameworks is a strong plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large, complex datasets, identify trends and provide actionable data-driven insights. Highly proficient in data

visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau). Demonstrated experience in report development (SSRS/Power BI Paginated Reporting). Highly proficient in Microsoft office, with advanced skills in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, VBA, and data visualization techniques. Experience with advanced statistical methods and data modeling. High proficiency in SQL and programming languages (Python/R/VBA) or other relevant programming languages. Demonstrated experience in creation of complex queries, data manipulation, and automation of data processes.

Experience with Machine Learning and AI implementation. Experience with Copilot Studio or other similar tools for AI agent development. Ability to work in agile environment and to adapt to changing business needs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High attention to detail and level of accuracy in work. Willingness to learn and grow in the rapidly changing data environment.

Minimum Education   

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field.
     

Certificates

  • Certifications not required, but a plus in areas such as GenAI, machine learning, data analytics.

Minimum Years of Experience  

  • 1 year in of experience in data analytics, as a Data Analyst or similar role, including experience with data modeling, statistical analysis, preferably with exposure to AI/Machine Learning projects.

Physical Demands

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.   

   

Work Environment   

The individual selected for this position may have the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement comprised of remote and in-office work, the requirement for which will be determined in coordination with the hiring manager or supervisor and may be modified at the firm’s discretion in the future.

The firm’s expected hiring range for this position is Salary: $77,370 - $107,177 per year depending on the candidate’s geographic market location.
 

The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
