Role Mission
Lead and coordinate the planning, organization, and oversight of data assets to ensure data accuracy, consistency, availability and usability across the organization to support business operations and decision-making, contributing to the implementation of the Group’s global data management framework. Support the consolidation of the federated data governance model, assisting Group units in adopting standards and best practices for effective data assets management.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the global data management framework in coordination with local teams, ensuring consistent and effective application across geographies and business units.
- Define, maintain, and evolve formal roles and responsibilities (Data Owners, Stewards, Custodians), ensuring accountability within each organizational unit.
- Support data-driven decision making, regulatory reporting and operational efficiency through effective data management practices.
- Oversee the data lifecycle of critical and business key data (customer, transactions, financial…).
- Participate in the construction and maintenance of the corporate data catalog (assets, metadata, glossaries, lineage…) ensuring a accessibility, traceability and business relevance.
- Oversee the enforcement of data quality policies through rules, thresholds, indicators (KPIs/KRIs), and automated control mechanisms.
- Coordinate the resolution of data quality issues, proposing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support functional areas in the operational management of critical data (e.g., customers, products, operations), enabling its consistent and purpose-driven use.
Profile Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in data management, data governance, data quality, or information architecture roles.
- Solid knowledge of data management and governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM) and related tools (catalogs, lineage, quality).
- Ability to define and implement role and responsibility models, and to coordinate cross-functional initiatives across multiple organizational units.
- Experience working with critical business data assets and supporting their proper application in operational, regulatory, and analytical processes.
- Technical knowledge of data modeling, metadata, SQL, and enterprise data platforms is positively valued.
- Ability to work in global and matrixed environments, effectively communicating with both technical and business stakeholders.
- University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, or related disciplines.
