Role

QuantHouse has developed a suite of Market Data Products including Reference Data, EOD pricing data, Historical Market Data, Cross-Reference services and Analytics. You will be joining the agile R&D team that is in charge of the functional and technical design, the implementation and the maintenance of the Market Data Products suite. Technical environment: Python, Shells Unix, SQL / NoSQL.  

What you will be doing

In this role you will design, build, maintain, and support QuantHouse’s Market Data Products suite:

• Ingesting Data from different file formats and various APIs
• Technical design and implementation of cross-linking logic to enrich content, based on 3rd party data sources
• Design and implementation of data quality and monitoring mechanisms to assure high-level service quality and availability
• Contributing to the improvement of internal tools, reports and alerts
• Implementation, optimisation and maintenance of data processing logic using various Python libraries
• Improving scalability, resiliency and observability
• Improving performance trough code optimisation and parallelisation (Python Multiprocessing and Multithreading)
• Provide Level 2 Support
• Collaboration with the Production team to help monitor the Market Data Products status in production and generate reports
• Working with our Product team to specify and develop new features

What you will need to be successful in this role

• Solid experience (5+ years) in ETL design and implementation
• A proven track-record in Python (not scripting but implementing production code), knowledge and experience with Python Multiprocessing and Multithreading
• Experience with relational and NoSQL Data Bases.
• Knowledge in building Observability platforms (OTel, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alloy)
• Exposure to the following technologies is a plus: AWS (S3, Glue, Airflow, OpenSearch), Terraform, Docker, Continuous Deployment, Github / Artifactory / Buildkite
• Proactive and self-motivated, attention to detail, ability to work autonomously
• Team player with good collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Good English proficiency (working in an international environment)
