CONTEXT 

 

The Data & Analytics Product Owner plays a key role in ensuring the high-quality and business relevance of Data, Analytics & AI Product deliveries while in line with the Group Data Strategy. This is a temporary position to cover a maternity leave, with an expected duration from July 2025 to April 2026. 

 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? 

 

Lead Data, Analytics & AI Products Roadmap 

  • With your team, drive the product roadmaps on data foundations, analytics and AI solutions. 

  • In collaboration with Group Platforms Product Owners, centralise, prioritize and challenge requirements to optimize resource allocation and maximize business value.  

  • Conduct impact analysis with all relevant stakeholders, identifying and anticipating any dependencies and risks to ensure smooth and successful product launches. 

Orchestrate Product Delivery 

  • Manage the delivery of central Data, Analytics & AI product initiatives within the Group Technology Data Platforms team. 

  • Engage and orchestrate key stakeholders Maisons, Functions and Regions, translating their business strategy and identified market opportunities into technical solutions that drive tangible business outcomes. 

  • Manage the backlog in close collaboration with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment on priorities and timely delivery of features. 

  • Monitor and report on progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure visibility and drive data-informed decision-making. 

Data, Analytics & AI Products Processes 

  • Streamline Product & Demand Management: Define and implement efficient processes for product management, demand management, and communication related to Data, Analytics, and AI Products. 

  • Develop Support Materials & Guidelines: Build and organize comprehensive support materials and guidelines for Data Product Management, both at the central level and for deployment across the group. 

  • Establish Collaborative Ways of Working: Define and promote clear and effective ways of working with diverse stakeholders across Maisons, Functions, and Regions, fostering alignment and collaboration.

Education and Experience Related: 

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration) or equivalent experience on the job. 

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as product owner or similar role (e.g.: driving development teams, managing global products within the luxury industry, or driving global technology implementation programs). 

  • Familiarity in managing interactions with different business stakeholders and top management. 

  • Overall working experience of more than 7 years in relevant roles preferably in the luxury industry. 

Product Management Skills: 

  • Deep and proven understanding of Agile methodologies, including but not limited to Scrum with accent and focus on development and delivery. 

  • Strong knowledge of product lifecycle accompanied by an ability to drive product roadmaps and prioritize feature backlogs based on business value with attention to standardization, pragmatism, and rationalization of multi-Maisons approach. 

  • Proficiency in streamlining collaboration between different stakeholders through the appropriate usage of related product management tools. 

Technical Skills: 

  • Solid technical background with a good understanding of development practices processes and technologies including CI/CD, DevOps and Cloud Applications. 

  • Strong interest and knowledge in data, cloud and related technologies. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of data foundations, Business Intelligence, AI or ML concepts and technologies, including Generative AI (GenAI), is a plus 

  • Ability to collaborate with technical development teams to ensure final quality of the products  

Leadership and Communication: 

  • As Product Owner you are the ultimate decision authority to drive the product vision. This means you have ability to guide and motivate teams to achieve the product vision. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication competences are required to manage with effectiveness stakeholders belonging to different areas of the organization 

  • Strong problem-solving skills will be required to make sure you can achieve the results required by the business priorities that you handle without impacting the final product vision.

  • Familiarity with multiple implementation standards and methodologies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and oral) in English (French is a plus)
