Arthrex is a global medical device company and leader in orthopedics medical education. With a corporate mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™, Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics. The Meetings & Events (M&E) data team in Naples, FL (INC) is responsible for supporting the data analysis and reporting needs of our Global Event Management System (GEMS) stakeholders. We are searching for an Intern pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Data Analytics to support the M&E Data Analytics team. The successful candidate will be able to perform data clean-up and optimizing duties for our Power BI data lake. This includes testing new connections from the data warehouse for accuracy under the direction of our M&E Sr. Data Analyst. The individual will perform various data cleanup and auditing of information to ensure reporting completeness and accuracy. They will be detail oriented in the execution and documentation of these duties. The individual will also work within the requirements of their tasks to deliver results and communicate issues in a timely and accurate manner.

 

This internship will run from August/September 2025 - December 2025. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 25-30 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

 

Main Objective:

To support our Meeting & Events Data team with data analysis and project duties. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Sr. Meetings & Events Data Analyst with the creation and auditing of Power BI and Cvent reports.
• Assist with analyzing APIs and user interfaces to identify field names and ensure accurate data mapping. 
• Perform testing of new connections to the data warehouse.
• Review weekly audit reports to catch any inaccuracies and perform data corrections, as necessary.
• Update documentation when additions or edits are made to Power BI published reports.
• Assist GEMS Support team with any projects related to system or templates changes.

Education and Experience:

• Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or Data Analytics.
• A college junior or above required. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

• Be able to follow written and verbal direction.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

• Experience with Excel, Power BI or other data visualization tool required.
• Experience with databricks and/or data warehouses preferred.
