Data Analytics Intern

The Data Analytic Intern works closely with the team to support their projects. In this role, you will report to the Director of Analytics and Engineering.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Preserve/advance a simple SQL server environment with complex data from a setup and maintenance perspective

• Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems

• Maintain and envision the architecture of data within the environment

• Write T-SQL jobs/Stored procedures for ETL of data

• Test for data integrity issues

• Other responsibilities as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

• Ability to write queries with the T-SQL Language for SQL Server

• Understanding and ability to act on database terminology such as blockings, indexing, parallelism, log shipping, linked servers etc.

• Ability to convert complex concepts into basic tables to be used in reporting

Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Microsoft database certifications a plus

• 3-5 years of experience recommended
