Primary objective of the job: 
The Business Data Analyst will work as part of the team dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system based on the various user group needs.  
 
We are seeking someone with excellent technical skills who can interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs to administer and enhance the system accordingly. This person will assist the team in developing new solutions to assist the business.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the Salesforce CRM application: maintain functional areas of data management, review of existing custom code that has been added over time with a view to repair / remove where necessary
• Develop, launch and manage in-depth dashboards and reports for all team functions on both management and individual levels using standard Salesforce reporting functionality as well as advanced Excel automation of existing reports
• Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices and perform peer code reviews.  Typical Salesforce implementations include custom platform development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components), integrations with back office systems (often through the use of middleware tools) and complex data migrations.  Experience in one or more of these aspects of a Salesforce project is a must
• Ability to work in a team environment and on own initiative with the desire to learn new skills
• Able to work out-of-hours and under tight and ever-changing deadlines

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience using Salesforce
• High levels of expertise with PC applications especially Excel, PowerPoint & Word
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Salesforce administrator certification is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Power BI would be advantageous

Functional Skills:

• Superb attention to detail, strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver results to tight deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literate and proficient in standard office applications Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Willingness to experiment and innovate through technology.
• “Can-do”, positive attitude with a mind to always quantifying what their contribution to the work is worth
