Role Overview

The Technical Solutions Engineer role at Monks is a hybrid position that blends internal software development, client-facing engineering services, and technical support for cross-functional teams. You’ll partner with account managers, engineers, and product specialists to deliver scalable solutions that elevate the quality and efficiency of our services. You’ll act as a developer, consultant, and platform expert all in one—so creativity, technical expertise, and communication skills are all key.

What You’ll Do

• Build internal tools on top of advertising and analytics platforms to empower account managers and specialist teams.

• Create documentation and deliver training to global internal teams on tools and systems.

• Support technical implementations including data integrations, platform migrations, tag audits, automation, cloud architecture, and workflow optimization.

• Provide strategic and technical guidance for implementation challenges across platforms.

• Identify and troubleshoot advanced platform or integration issues with a problem-solving mindset.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack web development.

• Experience or familiarity with hybrid mobile app or native iOS/Android development.

• Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.

• Experience deploying services to cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.

• Strong debugging skills in the browser (DOM, network, etc.).

• Excellent communicator, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and collaborate across diverse technical teams.

• Proactive, curious, and resourceful—comfortable “thinking outside the box” to find smart solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with automation frameworks (PhantomJS, Selenium)

• Understanding of digital advertising concepts (CPA, CTR, CPM, etc.)

• Familiarity with site/product analytics tools (GA, Adobe Analytics, Amplitude)

• Prior experience in sales engineering, consulting, support, or business development

• Data analysis experience with Python or R

• Exposure to Machine Learning and frameworks like TensorFlow

• Experience with ETL, data engineering, or data visualization
