Work as a member of the Delta One Strats team. Collaborate closely with sales, traders, and other teams to drive revenue across all facets of trading. Develop and deploy risk analytics and other content related to index and custom basket products. Partner with product developers, traders, sales teams, and risk management teams globally. Explain the make-up and use of products to both internal and external clients. Work with various data providers (internally and externally) to acquire and analyze various datasets. Help with the development of trading and decision-making applications that utilize our data and product assets. Work on the automation and streamlining of data workflows.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $200,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements:
Requires a Master’s in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the position offered or one (1) as an Associate, or a related role. Requires one (1) year of experience with: Quantitative modeling including parameter fitting, data collection and cleaning; quantitative data analysis including machine learning, cross validation, statistics calculation, and time series analysis; Python including multiprocessing, pandas, numpy, and sklearn; Equity Derivative Products including European options, American options, equity swaps, Exchange-Traded Funds, and dividends; and working in the financial services industry including communicating with stakeholders, regulators and different teams, and implementing quantitative and technology details.
