Job Reporting Relationships

     Supervised by: Operations Manager

     Supervises: N/A  

Basic Qualifications


Education/Training: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is required. Self-motivated, ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing priorities. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills and building and maintaining relationships with internal partners are required. Ability to review regulatory requirements and align with department policy and procedure. Ability to effectively communicate with Management and Bank personnel.  

Skill(s): Possesses; advanced reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; advanced interpersonal relations and communicative skills; advanced technical and computer skills; knowledge of business metrics and KPI. 

Experience: 1 year of related experience is minimally required. Demonstrated knowledge in relational database tools (i.e., SQL, Cognos, Excel, etc.) and previous experience in the Banking industry is preferred

General Responsibilities

The Operations Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to support product optimization, process improvements, and marketing strategies. This includes gathering and analyzing data from various sources, generating insights, and providing recommendations to drive business decisions. The analyst will work closely with various departments to ensure data accuracy and integrity, and to support the implementation of data-driven strategies

Essential Duties


  1. Perform data analysis to support the Operations Department with product optimization, process improvements, and other business strategies.

     a. Gather and analyze data from various sources, including customer transaction data, product usage metrics, operational KPIs, and marketing campaign data.

     b. Generate insights and provide recommendations to drive business decisions.

     c. Work closely with various departments to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

     d. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators and monitor progress.

     e. Conduct trend analysis, forecasting, and A/B testing to support decision-making.

     f. Provide data-driven insights to support the development and implementation of data-driven strategies.

     g. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.


2. Work on Departmental Policy and Procedure Administrative Responsibilities include:

     a. Coordinates with Operations team leaders to gather project details as assigned, define deliverables and timelines, and maintains a tracking system for reports.

     b. Maintains detailed records and audit trails of approvals for auditing purposes.

3. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.

4. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Reg CC, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.; ensures that the department and all personnel adhere to the same.

5. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate Bank personnel.

6. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her area, or to requests from customers, other Bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.

7. Assists the immediate supervisor with various administrative tasks to support department operations as directed; may also be assigned special projects.
