ProPrima Business Data Analyst

Ford Central and Eastern European Sales LLC is looking for a

Senior Pricing Data Analyst

to join our Marketing & Sales team in our Budapest, Váci Greens office.

What will be your roles and responsibilities in the team?

The Analyst is responsible for ensuring the product data received from upstream systems is correctly handled and set up for pricing analysis and ensure that the data is appropriate for the creation of new pricing scenarios and related management proposals. This position is also expected to support efforts for consistent downstream data from the Pricing team.

 

Key tasks include: 

• Support the mapping of PDO/GEMSL to FDB while it is still applicable
• Advise updates of CDE/FDB feature mapping rules 
• Support long term efforts for improving data ingestion processes from PDO with development work 
• Support the Pricing community with the development of tools and reports that improve the efficiency or accuracy of pricing work
• Support the UPP data reconciliation process
• Maintaining ProPrima Equipment Master List stub (EML) for Ford of Europe

 

The Analyst is backup for the Pricing Infrastructure Supervisor during vacations. 

• RACF administration and execution of user access 
• Authorization, verification and execution of UPPA access change requests 
• Execution of transfer requests
• Inform UPPA users' community in case if any problem with the application's infrastructure (UPPA, PGC)

 

The Analyst is backup for Business Data Analyst during vacations

• Maintain the mapping of PDO/GEMSL to FDB while it is still applicable Authorization, verification and execution of UPPA access change requests 
• Reconciliation of UPP data
• Support Ford of Europe Revenue Management Team with structured pricing data for EU20markets

 

To perform the responsibilities the Analyst needs to develop an understanding of: 

• PGC and FDB as the application lead user, to be able to support user issue resolution 
• Product Definition feature coding usage rules in PDO and GEMSL 
• RACF Mainframe Access Control (user maintenance) 
• Competitor information stored in CDE-NDS 
• Current pricing business process by ProPrima users, esp. setting and maintaining product price data, creating pricing proposals and loading and transmitting data to UPPA.  
• What to track in current and future vehicle programs and how to assess impact on ProPrima set up. 
• Mapping new Product features and packs (as coded in PDO/GEMSL) into new FDB features and packs
• Remapping of old PDO/GEMSL features and packs as required  
• Adding new users to system, amending user authorities, deleting old users from system 
• Investigation of product definition related queries from users 
• Day-to-day maintenance of FDB to update the PDO/GEMSL to FDB feature mapping table. 
• Liaise with IT team to investigate and initiate system changes if required. 

What are the requirements for this position?

• University / College degree  
• Excellent written and spoken English 
• Deep knowledge in MS Office especially Excel and Access 
• Profficient use of the Python programming language
• Strong analytical skills 
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively w/oexcessive management intervention 
• Ability to multitask, good time management skills, attention to deadlines 
• Ability to establish and maintain good business relationship 
• Problem solving skills
