In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring that data held within the ETRM system is accurate, up to date and consistent with other system and applications used across Smartest.

How will I spend my time in this role?

  • Work closely with the Deal Capture team to ensure that contract data is accurately inputted into the ETRM system;
  • Co-ordinate process guides across multiple teams to ensure that contractual changes and terminations are accurately reflected in the ETRM system;
  • Assist with the design and testing of new runbooks to standardise operational procedures and assist Trading IT team to implement the automation of manual tasks;
  • Analyse and reconcile data across multiple systems and implement corrections where necessary;
  • Work with the Optimisation & Structuring front office teams by ensuring that customer consumption and generation forecasts are accurately captured and updated in the ETRM system;

What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

  • Degree or higher degree educated in a subject with a strong numerical or analytical basis;
  • Proficient in data analysis, database management SQL and Microsoft Excel;
  • Knowledge of python is preferable.
