Summary of Role
The Data Analyst plays a vital role in building a strong data foundation for our agency’s diverse client portfolio. As part of the Media & Analytics team, this position focuses on the collection, analysis, and reporting of data to deliver actionable insights that fuel real business results. Leveraging platforms like Google Analytics, advertising tools, and visualization software such as Looker Studio and Tableau, the Data Analyst will uncover key trends, identify growth opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations for campaign optimization. Experience in advertising/ marketing and a expert proficiency in GA4 are a must! Success in this role requires a combination of strong analytical, technical, and communication skills to effectively convey insights to both internal teams and external clients. Additionally, the role involves maintaining data workflows and creating detailed reports and dashboards. Responsibilities
- Acquire relevant data from Google Analytics, advertising platforms, and other sources to answer business questions
- Perform analyses and uncover insights that connect to real business outcomes
- Advise Operations team on trends or opportunities seen in the data that can inform campaign optimizations
- Support the Media team with budget planning and revenue/lead forecasting
- Document analysis results and communicate findings clearly and succinctly in written and graphical form
- Present findings to both internal and external (client) stakeholders
- Maintain the data and reporting workflow for clients within our ETL tool and data visualization platforms
- Build reports and dashboards in Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc.
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Management or related field
- 2-4 years experience in marketing, advertising, analytics or other relevant business experience
- Experience with Google Analytics 4
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze complex data sets that include interrelationships and dependencies to identify common themes and opportunities
- Intrinsic curiosity to find out "why" things are the way they appear to be
- Spreadsheet pro: you are the person others in the office ask for help
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics (Google Ads and Facebook Ads are a plus)
- Working knowledge of Google Data Studio or other visualization tools
Preferred Skills
- Experience with statistical tests and predictive analytics
- Experience with Funnel.io or other ETL tools
- Experience with Tableau
- Basic understanding of SQL
Location Information
This role is required to be located near our Denver, CO office, with hybrid work from home flexibility.
Team members must live and work in the United States* (*territories excluded), and have access to reliable, high-speed internet.
Compensation
Annual salary: $62,000 - $75,000 based on experience, with additional earning potential based on goal attainment and overall revenue impact.
