Data Governance & Quality Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, procedures, and a comprehensive data glossary.

• Create and maintain data catalogues and metadata documentation to support transparency and traceability.

• Monitor and improve master data quality by defining and enforcing business rules and validation checks.

• Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues across systems and business units.

• Support the execution of SAP user access reviews and ensure compliance with access control policies.

• Facilitate data lineage tracking and support data audit activities.

• Provide training and guidance to business users on data governance processes and documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across PZ Cussons organization to ensure consistent data practices.

• Document business processes, system flows, and governance frameworks clearly and accurately.

• Support the Data Quality Lead with reporting, analysis, and project coordination.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Data Analyst, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or pharmaceutical industries.

• Experience managing master data and supporting data governance initiatives.

• Strong documentation skills, including process flows, policies, and system documentation.

• Experience with SAP systems or involvement in SAP implementation or other IT projects related to ERP system.

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Experience delivering training to business users and stakeholders.

• Familiarity with data lineage, metadata management, and data cataloguing tools is a plus.
