About Our ProgramĀ
Our Electrical Engineer Development Program provides training on routine assignments under the guidance of senior engineers. You will develop competence in the role by performing structured work assignments while using existing procedures to solve both routine and standard problems. Electrical Engineers work with a range of technologies, including Plasma Physics, Automation & Control Systems, Motion Control, Power Distribution & RF power generation and delivery components as well as PCB analog & digital circuit design.Ā
Role Responsibilities: Ā
- Coordinate the procurement and assembly of electrical/electronic components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve basic technical issuesĀ Ā
- Design or modify electrical/electronic engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of limited scope under direct supervisionĀ Ā
- Perform basic engineering analysis under direct supervisionĀ Ā
- Perform and generate basic engineering test reports under direct supervisionĀ Ā
- Generate related alpha/gamma documentation for product releaseĀ Ā
- Troubleshoot a variety of basic electrical problemsĀ Ā
- Effective use of engineering processes in the resolution of generally difficult electrical problems of limited scopeĀ
Minimum Qualifications: Ā
- Graduating with a Bachelorās degree in electrical engineering or a related fieldĀ and available to start full time summer 2025
- Basic technical knowledge in at least one R&D discipline (Optic, Electronic, Motion, SEM)
Preferred Qualifications: Ā
- Previous internship or related field experienceĀ
- Demonstrated leadership experienceĀ
- Able to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutionsĀ Ā
- Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of informationĀ Ā

NoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
