If you are in the Unilever Ice Cream business or are considering working for the Unilever ice Cream business, you will work for the global, leading Ice Cream player with €8bn Turn Over in 2023. The Ice Cream business is operating in a highly attractive category, as we are part of the 1 trillion snacking and refreshment industry, growing consistently at high pace. We have strong brands equities: 5 of the top 10 selling brands including Wall’s, Magnum, Ben &Jerry’s. We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of Ice Cream as a standalone entity, once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to happen by November 2025. Ice Cream has distinct characteristics from Unilever’s other operating businesses and the growth potential of Ice Cream will be better delivered under a different ownership structure.

JOB PURPOSE:
As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Manager within Data Management workstream during our SAP S4/HANA implementation. In this critical role, you will focus on successful delivery of a portfolio of data-related projects such as MDM design and implementation, data harmonization, data migration, and others.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of data-related projects, coordinate and align plans and deliverables with cross-functional teams, engaging with internal and external partners to ensure successful program delivery
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations, and regularly track progress against key milestones, proactively identifying and addressing any issues or risks
- Take ownership of project lifecycles, overseeing all aspects including budget management, timeline adherence, build quality, testing procedures, and operational readiness. Ensure completion and consistency of all projects, verifying their readiness for go-live
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program and project-level risks. Proactively escalate significant risks to global leads when necessary, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project objectives
- Implement and enforce the appropriate methodology to ensure consistency and quality in project execution. Continuously evaluate and refine processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide regular program-level reporting and status updates to stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress, milestones, and any potential issues or challenges. Foster open communication channels to facilitate transparency and collaboration
- Develop the skills and capabilities of the project team members. Provide coaching and mentorship to project managers within the organization, helping to build a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
- Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants involved in data-related projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, and quality standards
- Administer SharePoint and Teams channels, ensuring proper documentation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among project team members
- Organize and lead functional sessions and workshops to gather requirements, define solution designs, and address any project-related issues or challenges, conduct lessons learned and retrofit sessions
- Conduct regular team meetings to provide updates on project progress, discuss upcoming tasks and milestones, and foster collaboration and teamwork among project team members
- Partner with other project managers within the program and program level PMO
This role will exist in its current form for 2.5- 3 years.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Excellent project management skills with proven experience (3-5 years) leading and delivering large transformation projects in multiple regions/markets, preferably in the context of SAP S4/HANA implementations and/or data management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate, influence and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders across business and technical functions to achieve project milestones
- Strong understanding of data management principles and technology solutions, including master data management, data governance, data quality, data integration, data cataloging and metadata management
- Experience in leading data migration projects
- Strong track record of driving change and innovation, with the ability to think outside the box and embrace an agile and growth mindset
- Proven ability in building effective teams across internal and external partners
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, with a track record of driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions, including SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint, leveraging these tools to facilitate communication, collaboration, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Excellent proficiency in written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders
- Result-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes
- Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel globally to support market-specific requirements during design, build and deployment of the project
- Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project or similar
- Holds at least one relevant project management certification (e.g. PMP, Agile, SAFe) and is well-versed in project methodologies
