 Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Data Lead with SME-level knowledge in healthcare commercial domains (HCP, HCO, Payer, Plan, Product), deep hands-on experience with Reltio or any other Next Gen Cloud MDM solutions, and a strong grasp of AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate will lead offshore technical delivery of US MDM solutions, contribute to enterprise data governance, and manage a team of engineers and vendors to ensure high-quality, scalable, and compliant data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, architecture, and development of healthcare commercial master data platforms using Reltio or any other Next Gen Cloud MDM solutions.
  • Provide SME expertise in healthcare commercial domains: HCP (Healthcare Provider), HCO (Healthcare Organization), Product, Payer/Plan, Affiliations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define MDM requirements, data quality rules, match/merge strategies, survivorship logic, and workflows.
  • Support end-to-end MDM lifecycle: ingestion, standardization, cleansing, enrichment, and golden record generation.
  • Manage integrations with internal and external data providers (e.g., IQVIA, MedPro, CMS NPPES).
  • Lead a team of MDM developers and data engineers, ensuring agile delivery, performance optimization, and code quality.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of scalable AWS cloud-based data solutions using services like S3, Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Athena, etc.
  • Drive integration architecture and implementation using Reltio Integration Hub (RIH), MuleSoft, and Solace, enabling real-time and batch data synchronization across enterprise systems.
  • Implement and enforce data governance, security, compliance, and audit capabilities across MDM processes.
  • Partner with data architects, analysts, and enterprise platform teams to build and maintain scalable, reusable data products.  

Required Qualifications:

Technical Skills (AWS & Data Engineering):

  • 3–5+ years of experience with AWS cloud services including:S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Bedrock, Airflow
  • API Gateway, DynamoDB, Athena, CloudWatch
  • Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or Terraform)
  • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and/or Java for MDM-related pipelines by following standard practices.
  • Understanding of data modeling, metadata management, and data lineage tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Version Control (GitHub), Data profiling and monitoring practices in AWS.

Domain Expertise:

  • 5–10+ years in healthcare or life sciences commercial data domain.
  • SME-level understanding of:
  • HCP, HCO, and affiliations hierarchies.
  • Payer/Plan and formulary structures.
  • Healthcare data standards (NPI, DEA, HIN, 340b etc.).
  • Third-party vendor data integration (IQVIA, MedPro, etc.).

Master Data Management Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Reltio MDM or Any MDM Solutions.
  • Strong experience in configuring match rules, survivorship rules, workflows, and reference data.
  • Experience with Reltio integrations using REST APIs, Reltio Console, SQS,  Data Loader, Connectors and Pipelines.
  • Reltio Certification or any MDM certification is good to have.
  • Integration Experience:
  • Hands-on experience implementing integrations using:
  • Reltio Integration Hub (RIH) for event-driven and orchestration workflows. 
  • MuleSoft for API-led integration and connectivity to enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP).
  • Solace (PubSub) for event-driven architecture and message bus frameworks.
  • Proven ability to implement real-time, near-real-time, and batch data exchange patterns.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in building or contributing to data mesh or data product architectures.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Veeva, Snowflake, or other healthcare CRM/data platforms.
  • Knowledge of data privacy (HIPAA, GDPR) and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience integrating MDM with downstream analytics, reporting, or AI/ML platforms.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Certifications in AWS and/or Reltio or MDM are preferred.
