The Position

Your Assets:

As a Physicist specializing in Protein Structure Prediction and Molecular Modeling, you will:

  • Innovate: Develop new methodologies to design “in silico” antibodies for future in vitro diagnostic assays.

  • Leverage AI: Utilize advanced AI tools to predict protein docking poses and molecular binding kinetics, aiming to identify the ideal antibodies.

  • Algorithm Development: Create novel algorithms to enhance antibodies using both internal and publicly available datasets.

  • Collaborate: Work closely with internal project teams and experts to express and test these antibodies.

  • Manage Data: Maintain and expand our existing antibody databases.

Your Profile:

  • You hold a PhD in (bio-)physics, (computational-) chemistry, bioinformatics, or a related field.

  • You possess strong machine learning and data analysis skills, proficient in Python.

  • You have experience with machine learning/deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras for protein language models.

  • You master multivariate analysis, dimensionality reduction methods, and modern classification techniques.

  • You know protein dynamics simulation tools such as GROMACS, AMBER, or similar toolboxes (a plus).

  • You are familiar with parallelization toolboxes like MPI/CUDA for high-performance computing (a plus).

  • You have experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Spotfire (a plus).

  • You thrive in collaborative team environments.

  • You are curious, proactive, and driven to independently suggest and try new ideas.

  • You communicate complex concepts clearly and convincingly in English, with strong presentation skills.

This position will be filled with effect September 2025 and is limited to 2 years.
