In our R&D environment, you will support a dynamic, interdisciplinary team working on the next generation of intelligent vehicle functions. This role focuses on our in-car Android platform, bridging vehicle sensor data and cutting-edge AI technologies. Your contributions will help shape new user experiences using Generative AI.

What awaits you?

• You support rapid prototyping, transforming innovative concepts into tangible in-car experiences.
• Your main task is contributing to the end-to-end development of features on the Android platform (Kotlin), integrating backend GenAI services (Python).
• You help tackle technical challenges related to incorporating Vision Language Models (VLMs) into automotive environments.
• Additionally, you validate prototypes in real research vehicles, ensuring hands-on experience.

What should you bring along?

• Studies in Computer Science, Media Informatics, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in Android development with Kotlin.
• Basic Python skills, particularly for working with machine learning pipelines.
• Passion for technology and innovation, with a focus on rapid development.
• Interest in AI/Machine Learning, especially in Computer Vision or Generative AI, is a plus.
• Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for contributing new ideas.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.
