Job Summary
We are looking for a Data Operations to lead the efforts in providing valuable insights for our product by annotating the data related to the sport results and reporting it back into our system. You will join the wider Product Development department, working with the best talent to improve and enable us to have all the relevant data sorted and well documented. This is a part-time role on a student contract.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Passion for Sports: Deep enthusiasm and comprehensive knowledge across various sports, with a particular emphasis on football.
  • Adaptability: Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, to ensure coverage of live sports events.
  • Meticulous Attention to Detail: Strong focus and precision in executing tasks, ensuring the highest level of accuracy.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and tools.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, enabling clear and concise reporting.
  • Self-Driven: Highly motivated, demonstrating a proactive approach and a strong sense of responsibility in all tasks.
  • Team Collaboration: A collaborative team player who can effortlessly integrate into new teams and contribute effectively.
  • Ability to work on a student contract for at least 1 year

What you'll be doing:.

  • Accurate Data Entry: Meticulously inputting and managing data related to sports events, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Event Documentation: Recording critical match events such as lineups, goal scorers, cards, substitutions, assists, and more.
  • Player and Team Mapping: Creating and maintaining accurate connections between players, teams, competitions, and seasons across various data sources.
  • Quality Assurance: Upholding the highest standards of data quality and accuracy, ensuring our users consistently receive trustworthy and precise information.
