TeleWorld Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer/Software Engineer to join our team! As a Data Engineer/Software Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in building the data and software platforms that power RAN intelligence, automation, performance monitoring, and predictive analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL data pipelines that ingest and process real-time telemetry from RAN, CBRS, and core network systems
• Develop APIs and software tools to support network automation, orchestration, and optimization across 5G, LTE, and CBRS
• Collaborate with system architects, network engineers, and product managers to define data models for RAN configuration, spectrum allocation, and traffic analytics
• Support data visualization and monitoring dashboards (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, SNMP) for internal tools used by RF and operations teams
• Engineer solutions for distributed data storage, processing (e.g., Kafka, Spark, Flink), and high availability
• Integrate and optimize performance of SQL and NoSQL databases, including Oracle, MongoDB, and DynamoDB
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS and Azure platforms
• Contribute to software that interfaces with Samsung RAN, CBRS SAS systems, DOCSIS edge devices, and SDN platforms
• Automate validation and testing of new RAN software releases using CI/CD pipelines and synthetic data
• Monitor and enhance system performance, scalability, and security in cloud environments
• Develop ETL architecture/ framework to handle processing of big data
• Use of AWS ec2 machines, Big data framework like Apache spark and Apache Flink
• Use cloud storage/ databases like AWS S3 , PostgreSQL, Snowflake for storing output data
• Monitor the various ETL processes & streams for memory issues and task failures. Take corrective action in case of failed processes without loss of data
• Scale ETL to support larger data volume for future compatibility
• Write scripts/ API in python, SCALA or SQL to load, process & aggregate data within ETL
• Develop lower environment for testing proposed code changes or proposed ETL enhancements
• Propose improvements to ETL architecture/framework to increase processing efficiency and keeping low operating costs
• Understand different spatial file formats and how spatial data is stored in cloud databases
• Develop scripts for geospatial mapping and enrichment of data
• Create monitoring dashboard using Streamlit or other hosted BI tool

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or backend software development
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, especially Oracle, MongoDB, and DynamoDB
• Proficiency in building and orchestrating ETL pipelines using tools like Kafka, Airflow, Spark, or Flink
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Experience with monitoring and log analytics using Prometheus, Grafana, and SNMP
• Solid foundation in data modeling, distributed systems, and API development
• Understanding of wireless network architecture including LTE, 5G, CBRS, or DOCSIS (a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with network telemetry systems or OSS/BSS integration
• Knowledge of 3GPP standards, 5G core interfaces, or RAN performance KPIs
• Experience building real-time dashboards and alerts for network health and performance
• Exposure to CBRS spectrum management and SAS integration
• Background in telecom infrastructure and converged cable-wireless architectures
