Who we are  

The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.

     Your role and key responsibilities
  • Design & implement data stewardship and engineering solutions: Build robust data pipelines and stewardship frameworks tailored to the unique demands of battery cell manufacturing.
  • Organize manufacturing data domains: Oversee critical data domains to ensure consistency and alignment with factory operations.
  • Transform raw data into actionable assets: Clean, structure, and contextualize raw production data; maintain and map master data to create reliable, reusable data products for analytics, AI, and operational use cases.
  • Ensure data quality & integrity: Design systems and structures to monitor, validate, and continuously improve data quality
  • Analyze data for operational insights: Evaluate data availability and quality to identify gaps, optimize data flows, and support data-driven decision-making
     What you bring to the team
  • University degree in Business Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Broad experience in orchestrating data across centralized and decentralized organizational units, with a focus on data ownership, lifecycle management, and governance
  • Proven ability to maintain, map, and contextualize master data
  • Knowledge for designing and implementing systems to monitor, validate, and improve data quality across the factory landscape
  • Ability to align data stewardship initiatives with long-term manufacturing goals
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark to build scalable data pipelines
