This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting new projects supporting our QM/DEV/Business and DBA team. You will be responsible for delivering test data to different Engineering teams to support features and enhancements to eCommerce Platforms
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead Test Data Management efforts for a large-scale, B2B eCommerce web applications, tools, and/or software
- Design and develop data provision workflows or task flows using Informatica Power Center and/or Test Data Management Workbench.
- Set up Test Data Services, implement data masking, and devise Test Data Management strategies.
- Ability to multi-task, shift gears quickly, work independently and collaboratively, adapt easily to shifting priorities, process changes, and schedule changes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues.
- Expertise at generating and manipulating complex test data.
- Configuring and troubleshooting data discrepancies between databases.
- Learn the data dependencies across complex eCommerce services and execute multi-task across several back-end data environments with changing priorities.
- Monitors data provisioning progress, provides status updates, and escalates issues to management, test lead and other project participants regarding TDM efforts.
- Engineer will be responsible for developing Java scripts that integrate Jenkins with Informatica ETL workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in computer science or related field OR equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of proven QA ETL, data provision and data virtualization experience.
- 5-6 years of experience in Informatica Power Center and/or Test Data Management Workbench.
- 4-5 years of Java or Python development experience is preferred, with proficiency in Git and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of proprietary and open-source databases, including SQL, Oracle, Mongo, DB2, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge in implementing database virtualization tools like Actifio and Delphix.
