Job Summary

We’re looking for a Data Product Manager to lead the development of internal data tools and dashboards that drive decision-making across finance, accounting, product, and operations teams. You’ll play a key role in shaping the roadmap, gathering business requirements, and collaborating with data engineers and analysts to deliver user-friendly, scalable solutions. You’ll be at the center of turning complex data into clear, self-service insights.

This is a full-time and remote, 12-month contract opportunity to cover a team member’s maternity/parental leave.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the roadmap for data products such as dashboards, self-service tools, and reporting extensions
  • Translate business needs into clear data requirements, including fields, metrics, and definitions
  • Collaborate with data engineers to design and validate scalable data models, primarily in Looker
  • Lead stakeholder discovery and feedback sessions to ensure alignment and adoption of data tools
  • Deliver training sessions and create documentation to enable self-service analytics
  • Continuously iterate on dashboards and tools based on user feedback and business priorities
  • Support governance practices by helping define access controls and resolving data quality issues
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications 

  • 3–5 years of experience in product management, data analytics, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Proven experience working with data platforms or business intelligence tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Hands-on experience with Looker (preferred), Tableau, or other data visualization tools; familiarity with LookML is a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of data concepts: modeling, metrics, KPIs, and data validation
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A user-first mindset and a passion for creating clean, intuitive data experiences

Pay Scale

  • $120,000 - $140,000 CAD per year
