Who We Are

Verily is a subsidiary of Alphabet that is using a data-driven approach to change the way people manage their health and the way healthcare is delivered. Launched from Google X in 2015, our purpose is to bring the promise of precision health to everyone, every day. We are focused on generating and activating data from a variety of sources, including clinical, social, behavioral and the real world, to arrive at the best solutions for a person based on a comprehensive view of the evidence. Our unique expertise and capabilities in technology, data science and healthcare enable the entire healthcare ecosystem to drive better health outcomes.

Description

The Precision Health Platform is at the core of research and care: it underpins software to support clinical research studies and registries as well as our virtual care management products and digital biomarkers. Based on Cloud architecture and FHIR, it comprises foundational services to accelerate the development and connection of our products. This enables the Verily research and care products to be interoperable, consistent, and allows us to launch to market faster with greater impact.

You will directly lead a team of product managers within the Precision Health Platform. You will be responsible for growing and supporting them, as well as aligning their work to the larger platform vision.

You will also directly manage the machine learning / artificial intelligence (ML/AI) infrastructure pipelines and labeling tools for the Precision Health Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Verily-wide strategy and roadmap for ML infrastructure and processes supporting: data ingestion; data preparation; data labeling; model development, training, tuning, and validation; model deployment, serving, and monitoring.
  • Stay aligned with data science and teams driving the overall AI/ML product strategy and roadmap.
  • Align stakeholders, leadership, and partner teams on a standard approach to model development and operations.
  • Own clear and prioritized requirements for the ML infra products. Drive execution with a cross-functional team including engineering, UX, data science, quality, and others.
  • Collaborate with quality, regulatory, privacy, and other functions to understand how regulatory considerations affect the ML/AI model lifecycle and product requirements.
