What you will do
As the data engineer, you will be the owner of all data related to the products OTIV.TWO and OTIV.FOUR. You will set up automated pipelines regarding data collection, data storage and data annotation. Furthermore you will analyze the output of our system by calculating relevant metrics and statistics on large amounts of data. You will work closely together with ML engineers, robotics engineers and SW developers.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Supervise remote data collection processes with in the field hardware
- Automate data transfers to local storage and cloud
- Convert sensor data to different formats
- Create and maintain events database for validation purposes
- Supervise and review annotation services of third parties
- Validate system output by calculating relevant metrics
- Gather relevant statistics from large datasets
Requirements
Who you are
- Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineer or similar field
- Strong coding skills in Python
- Experience in Linux and Bash scripting
- Knowledge of different database technologies
- Experience with cloud computing
- Eager to automate manual tasks
- Experience in DevOps/MLOps is a plus
- Experience in OpenCV is a plus
- Experience in handling MCAP files is a plus
- Fluent in English and knowledge of any other European language is a plus.
