U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Data Analytics – Platforms and Capabilities in Chicago, Illinois.
Essential Responsibilities:
As part of the Platform Insights Reporting and Analytics Team, the Data Analytics – Platforms and Capabilities will be responsible for empowering the company to make informed decisions as measured through insights shared and data democratization via reporting consumption. The Data Analytics – Platforms and Capabilities will work on big data/analytics projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data, while suggesting optimal statistical methods for analysis. Essential responsibilities include: collecting and managing large amounts of data from various sources in order to perform analysis (15%); searching, interpreting and analyzing data using statistical techniques and tools (10%); generating in-depth analysis in customer engagement platforms like Cobrowse, Appointment Scheduling, User Profiles and Settings, Communication Hub, Twilio Two way SMS and Seismic Sales Enablement thus determining sales in consumer and business banking (15%); designing dashboards which deliver key insights thus enabling stake holders to derive design decisions (15%); implement different statistical analysis techniques into dashboards to provide tailored analytical views of data aiding stakeholders in understanding target marketing channels and usage statistics of newly published features (5%); capturing sales data to highlight the net revenue earned in consumer and business banking products (15%); reporting and analysis of the usage of customer experience-enhancing features (10%); designing KPI dashboards to demonstrate customer online banking engagement and interaction, capturing feedback via CSAT (10%); and developing comprehensive Adobe analytics dashboards to highlight customer fallout journeys in checking, savings and credit card account creations (5%). Basic Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Business Analytics plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate data analytics or data science experience at a large commercial bank.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must possess 3 years of experience with all of the following: end-to-end implementation of Derivative, Treasury and FX products in Calypso, which includes static data set up and market data setup; identifying data for test scenarios using Calypso testing tool (CATT) and Beyond Compare tool; Calypso user migration and tool configuration; developing application performance reports using tools in analytics; developing customized database report extracts for business users; analyzing automation reports; conversion of user reports, risk reports, and database migration and transition from Windows to Unix servers; Oracle; SQL; XML; and Agile methodology.
Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $138,715.00 - $163,400.00 (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
