Job DescriptionWe are seeking a hands-on Manager-Level Data Quality Engineer to lead our data quality efforts, with a strong emphasis on automation. This individual contributor role will focus on improving Marketing data quality while also supporting data quality initiatives across other business areas. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset and the proven ability to implement effective data quality processes and procedures for the Enterprise data.
About the Team:
Join our Data Engineering & Analytics team, where we focus on delivering high-quality data solutions that drive business insights and decision-making. Our team collaborates with various zones, including Marketing, Finance, Workforce Tech, Operations Technology, and other zones to ensure data integrity and quality across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead data quality initiatives for the Data Engineering and Analytics and Business Intelligence teams, ensuring high standards of data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Data Desk team to identify and address data quality issues, leveraging insights from manual fixes to inform automation efforts.
- Work closely with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines that enhance data quality and streamline processes.
- Develop and maintain data quality metrics, dashboards, and reports to monitor data quality performance across various zones.
- Implement and optimize data quality processes and procedures, focusing on automation to reduce manual intervention.
- Engage with stakeholders across different zones to understand their data quality needs and provide strategic recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to data quality and automation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 7+ years in data quality management, data governance, or a similar role.
- Experience in leading data quality initiatives and implementing data quality frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts, with proficiency in Informatica, Python, and SQL.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with data quality tools and technologies is a plus.
