With the introduction of Harvey AI, a generative AI-powered platform designed for law firms and legal teams to automate and enhance our legal expertise and legal workflow, you will play a key role in the integration and ongoing enhancement delivery, that will transform the way we deliver legal services.

Joining our highly regarded Innovation team, reporting to the Head of Digital and working as part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will be responsible for managing the AI products in our portfolio, that comprises of internally developed and third-party applications; and orchestrating collaboration between legal professionals, external vendors and internal teams to shape our AI product roadmap to meet the firm’s ambitious goals.

Bringing your deep understanding of a law firm from the inside, you will cultivate a user-centric philosophy rich in empathy and advocacy, with user feedback and iterative design at its core. You will also serve as an internal champion for AI adoption, educating stakeholders on the benefits and promoting the capabilities of our AI solutions.

With an initial focus on Harvey AI, key responsibilities will include:

• Engaging with the business (predominately legal) to identify and evaluate potential legal AI use cases and opportunities for productivity and new service offerings
• Understanding legal services and the activities legal staff undertake to provide outstanding outcomes to clients
• Collating user feedback to inform the AI feature roadmap
• Conducting user interviews to gather insights and identify user needs
• Prioritising product features and capabilities based on the value to the user and the business
• Creating user stories that clearly articulate the desired outcome for the user
• Augmenting the AI solution into our workflows by analysing and redesigning existing business processes and tasks, while documenting new ways of working
• Leading workshops, training sessions and AI showcases
• Ensuring AI governance and compliance

About You

With an excellence without arrogance ethos and a passion for the positive impact GenAI can have on the legal industry, you will be a Product Manager looking to bring your expertise to innovative leaders in their field.  You don’t need to be the most technical in this space, however you do need the ability to make the complex simple as the conduit. You will also bring:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Management, ideally with a focus on AI or legal technology products
• Experience in a law firm front facing with lawyers, along with exceptional stakeholder mgmt. skills and an ability to think strategically and communicate impactfully
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Experience or familiarity on AI Governance and responsible use
• Proven success in creating product roadmaps
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
