We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Business Intelligence Engineer II position located in Provo, UT. Responsibilities include:

• Write sophisticated SQL queries while developing and maintaining data models and their dependencies

• Support partner teams (strategy, finance, sales, field operations, marketing, etc.) with the creation, manipulation, and cleansing of new and existing data sources

• Utilize BI visualization tools – primarily Sigma Computing – to build comprehensive data workbooks for use by both internal and external clients

• Handle issues in the existing reporting suite and be able to diagnose and resolve them in a timely fashion

• Collaborate closely with partner teams and executive leadership to understand their business needs and opportunities and then recommend and facilitate analytical solutions

• Work with scalability in mind and make valuable contributions to data quality and accuracy across our data technology stack

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Technical Degree preferred)

• Experience: Business Intelligence or Analytics Engineering Related (Two Years Minimum preferred)

• Excellent with written and oral communication and have worked with passionate leaders who aren’t afraid to challenge you

• Self-motivated, not intimidated by balancing multiple difficult projects in tandem, and the ability to move back and forth between them without missing a beat

• Leveraging data visualizations to tell important business stories and influence decisions (Sigma Computing, Sisense, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)

• Expert in SQL

• Proficient in the following:

  • Snowflake

  • DBT

  • ETL/ELT tools (Fivetran, Stitch, etc.)

  • Git (Bitbucket, Gitlab, Github, etc.)

• Experience in the following is a plus:

  • AWS

  • Airflow

  • Python
