Job Description

Reporting to: Global Security Associate Director – Product Integrity Intelligence

Position Summary: 

This position will serve as the Data Scientist for Product Integrity Intelligence, focusing on uncovering insights through data analysis, creating predictive models, and advanced analytical techniques to enhance product integrity initiatives. The incumbent will collaborate closely with various teams to communicate findings and recommendations that support the Product Integrity global mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Insights:

·       Identify patterns and trends in large datasets to extract actionable insights relevant to product integrity investigations.

·       Conduct in-depth data analysis to understand data relationships and inform decision-making processes.

Model Development and Forecasting:

·       Design, develop, and implement predictive algorithms and data models to forecast outcomes related to product integrity.

·       Utilize complex analytical techniques to improve product quality and enhance data processing capabilities.

Tools and Technologies:

·       Employ programming languages and tools such as Python, R, SQL, and statistical software for data manipulation and analysis.

·       Develop and deploy interactive data dashboards using data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate complex data insights effectively.

Collaboration and Communication:

·       Work closely with cross-functional teams to communicate data-driven recommendations and findings to stakeholders at various levels, including senior management.

·       Present analytical results and insights in clear, concise formats that drive strategic initiatives related to product integrity.

Innovation and Development:

·       Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science and data analytical methodologies to improve analytical approaches and tools used in data analysis.

·       Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new data science technologies and best practices to enhance research and reporting processes in the department.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

·       Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

·       5 or more years of proven experience in data analysis and model development, particularly in a relevant industry or domain.

·       Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization best practices.

·       Experience using programming languages such as Python or R, and proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

·       Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

·       Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

·       Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·       Strong commitment to compliance and ethical standards in data handling and analysis.

·       Knowledge and experience within the pharmaceutical anti-counterfeiting landscape is a plus. 

·       CFE certification is a plus

·       Familiarity with OSINT methodologies and best practices is a plus.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The salary range for this role is

$114,700.00 - $180,500.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
