Conversational AI Designer

We’re seeking a creative, user-centric Conversational AI Designer to help us craft engaging, human-like interactions for chatbots, voice assistants, and virtual agents. You’ll design conversation flows that balance empathy, brand voice, and technical constraints—shaping how millions of people experience intelligent systems.

Key Responsibilities Conversation Design

• Design end-to-end conversation flows, including happy paths, edge cases, error recovery, and escalation.
• Write natural, on-brand dialogues that feel intuitive and empathetic.
• Prototype quickly, test with users, and iterate based on data.

Collaboration & Research

• Partner with product, engineering, and UX to align conversation goals with business objectives.
• Conduct user and stakeholder interviews, heuristic reviews, and competitive analyses to ground design decisions in research.
• Evangelize conversational best practices and design-thinking across teams.

Analysis & Optimization

• Analyze conversation logs to uncover friction points and training gaps.
• Track KPIs (task completion, CSAT, containment, etc.) and present insights that drive roadmap decisions.

Learning & Development

• Deepen your expertise in NLU, prompt engineering, and multimodal UX.
• Stay current with emerging tools (e.g., LLM-powered platforms) and propose ways to leverage them.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree, preference in Linguistics, Psychology, Communication, HCI, UX Design, Marketing, Sales or a related field
• Great experience in writing & storytelling skills, with a knack for dialogue and tone
• Design-thinking mindset: ideate, prototype, test, iterate
• Empathy & user-centricity: skilled at mapping user needs and pain points
• Foundational UX knowledge (journey mapping, IA, wireframing)
• Passion for research: comfortable running interviews, surveys, and usability tests
• Affinity for new tech: curiosity about LLMs, multimodal AI, and emerging platforms
• Clear communicator & team player: we often work with various teams across the organisation to best understand their needs and help bring meaningful improvements

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with chatbot or voice platforms
• Bilingual fluency or localization experience in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Hands-on prompt-engineering or LLM fine-tuning projects.
• Familiarity with scripting logic or markup (JSON, XML, conditional flows).
• Basic NLU / AI concepts (intents, entities, prompt design)
