Job Description

Department

This position is filled in the IoT Digital team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary. The team consists of IT professionals working on big data, data analytics, data sharing and IoT solution implementation projects.

Project

In your future project you will directly work with our customer from the energy solution industry, dedicated to decarbonization of major industries in global economy. A key focus will be the development of the existing analytics environment of our customer to explore, develop and orchestrate analytics, including simple rule-based models and machine learning algorithms.

Supporting the analytics platform for the data scientists - to accelerate the development of data science activities and abstract data extraction, deployment (templating to package common functions, eg: windowing of data, scheduling batch execution, versioning).

Main tasks

• Take part in agile environment (SCRUM) as a member of a cross functional team
• Build cloud hosted services considering holistic business requirements and implications along the entire development process
• Write scalable and maintainable code
• Ensure quality in every aspect of your work
• Collaborate with other teams in an international environment (Spain, Hungary, Germany)
• Pro-actively support teams with technology expertise and new ideas to optimize the solutions and platforms

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master’s degree in the following areas: Computer science, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent work experience in IT
• Strong experience with analyzing data sets and doing data analysis using Python
• Candidates need good English written and oral skills.
• Very good problem-solving skills
• Good negotiation skills ( it is required for the internal stakeholder communications and processes)
