About the role:You will be a part of a diverse and professional team within SEB Group CRO organization that ensures quality of models used for measuring credit risk. We conduct in-depth reviews of the models to ensure quality performance by assessing model design and modelling methodologies, performance from the statistical point of view, data quality, implementation, regulatory compliance, and usage. We are presenting insights and proposing recommendations to the SEB Group CRO management as well as are closely working with the model developers, owners, users, and other key stakeholders. You will be retrieving, analysing, and interpreting data from various sources, assessing model performance quantitatively and qualitatively, taking part in model framework development and automatization of the validation processes to ensure comprehensive and informative analyses. You will have empowerment to organize your work individually and introduce new and/or improve the existing validation tools. Nevertheless, you will also be able to work in small sub-teams. The team is located in Vilnius, but you will work in close interaction with the experienced professionals in SEB Group CRO organization across Nordic and Baltic countries.

As a Quantitative Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Developing methodologies and advanced tools to improve model review process
- Testing model performance both from quantitative and qualitative perspectives
- Assessing risk model design and methodology
- Interpreting results of the tests performed and providing the insights
- Consolidating your analysis in interactive reports
- Presenting validation results to interested parties and management
- Support SEB Group CRO organization in risk measurement related projects
Who we are looking for:
- An academic background in statistics, mathematics, data science, econometrics, physics, engineering or similar
- 2 and more years work experience in data analysis or credit risk modelling/validation (advantage)
- Good statistical/programming knowledge (R, Python) and data handling skills
- Willingness to take on ownership and to deliver good quality work on time
- Analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to transform theory into concrete action
- Proactive and constructive team player, ready to share experience and ideas
- Good writing and communication skills (English is the main working language)
