Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team full-time and in person to own our deployment infrastructure and customer cloud integrations. This role is perfect for someone who wants to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies while supporting enterprise AI deployments.

You'll be responsible for our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployments into various customer cloud environments. We are hiring for an on-site role in our HQ in Berlin, Germany.

Timeline After Start

- Weeks 1-2: Onboarding and familiarization with our infrastructure setup and deployment processes
- Weeks 3-6: Work on smaller infrastructure tasks and shadow experienced engineers on customer deployments
- Week 6+: Own infrastructure projects, customer cloud deployments, and CI/CD pipeline improvements

Responsibilities

- Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment
- Deploy and maintain our platform across multiple customer cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure, OpenShift)
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep)
- Monitor and optimize application performance and infrastructure costs
- Ensure security and compliance across different cloud environments
- Collaborate with Product Engineers to support new feature deployments
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
- Document deployment processes and maintain runbooks for different environments

Required Skills

- 1-2 years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and deployments
- Strong knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Experience with major cloud providers: AWS, GCP, Azure, and/or OpenShift
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or similar tools (Pulumi, CloudFormation)
- CI/CD pipeline development with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar platforms
- Linux system administration and command-line proficiency
- Understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in cloud environments
- Fluent English for technical documentation and customer communication

Strong Plus

- Enterprise deployment experience with security, compliance, and multi-tenancy requirements
- Experience with Azure Container Apps and Azure-specific services
- Monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Application Insights
- Database administration experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
- German language skills for customer communication
- Experience with secrets management tools like Doppler, HashiCorp Vault, or cloud-native solutions
