Key Responsibilities:
Build and Integrate Data Pipelines (35%)
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines pulling from Oracle ERP, Ivalua, DocuSign, Supplier Portal, and external sources such as commodity pricing and indexes.
- Partner with Digital Technology (DT) to design and automate data ingestion, cleansing, and transformation workflows.
Define and Govern Data Architecture (20%)
- Establish and maintain a trusted sourcing data foundation in cloud platforms (GCP and AWS).
- Collaborate across teams to uphold data quality, lineage, and access standards.
Enable Business Intelligence and Reporting (20%)
- Design clean, reliable data models for reporting and dashboarding (Tableau).
- Build data APIs and connectors to support self-service analytics and scalable insights.
Drive System Integration and Automation (15%)
- Connect diverse sourcing and procurement systems to minimize manual data handoffs.
- Deploy tools for monitoring data freshness, consistency, and quality.
Champion Innovation and Continuous Improvement (10%)
- Explore and pilot emerging data engineering technologies, including LLM-powered data preparation.
- Promote best practices and encourage automation-focused approaches across the team.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience building enterprise-scale data pipelines, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Proficiency with Oracle EBS and Mulesoft API integrations
- Advanced coding skills in SQL and Python
- Cloud data platform experience (GCP preferred, AWS accepted)
- Experience integrating ERP, SaaS, and third-party data (APIs, SFTP, flat files)
- Knowledge of data modeling and BI/analytics frameworks
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in data engineering or cloud platforms
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
