As a Process Safety Data Analyst Intern in our team, you will play a vital role in the prediction of safety-relevant properties by analysing our recipes for flavour and fragrance products. This position will provide you with hands-on experience in data analysis and model documentation, while working closely with our safety lab and data science teams.
This internship is limited to 6 months (workload 60%) and is based in Kemptthal. You will report directly to the Global Environmental Protection Manager.
You will:
- Deeply understand the current data analysis approach and its applications
- Apply the existing data analysis methods to an enlarged dataset to enhance our predictive capabilities
- Document results and findings to improve the overall computer model approach
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of safety assessments
You bring:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- Proficiency in contemporary data analysis techniques and strong analytical skills
- Basic knowledge of organic chemistry
- Experience in various programming environments
- Fluency in both German and English
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt
