Data Scientist, Advanced Analytics, Brampton, ON

We are looking for a Data Scientist who will take the lead on building advanced machine learning models to support the future growth of loyalty data products supporting PC Optimum. The role involves working with large datasets in the cloud and requires expert knowledge of machine learning models and advanced skills in SQL, Python, and Spark. 

What You'll Do: 

• Build machine learning models and perform advanced statistical analysis to support audience creation for internal and external stakeholders
• Work with Solution Engineers to support the deployment of model pipeline into production and the maintenance of existing models
• Assist model back testing and optimization of existing models and processes
• Perform data discovery and data analysis to design new features
• Apply statistical techniques to measure campaign performances, and lead A/B testing initiatives to evaluate the efficacy of different strategies

What You Bring 

• Experience in STEM disciplines or in an analytical role
• Deep knowledge in math, probability, statistics and algorithms
• Hands on experience with building Machine Learning models
• Hands on experience with SQL and Python, PySpark, or R
• Experience working in cloud environments, GCP preferred
• A great team player and a self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Genuine passion for analytics, a commitment to delivering high-quality work and a continuous learning mindset
