About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Counterparty Data & AI Specialist to join our Counterparty Management team. This role is central to driving automation and scalability across the onboarding lifecycle and ongoing relationship monitoring. The ideal candidate will combine strong data engineering skills with hands-on experience in process automation, AI/ML integration, and reporting infrastructure. This is a cross-functional role requiring close collaboration with operations, legal, and IT.

Reporting Line - Head of Counterparty Management

Worksite: Remote within CET zone

Responsibilities:

1. Onboarding Automation

• Design and implement automated workflows to streamline the onboarding of brokers, custodians, clearers, and counterparties.
  

• Integrate document parsing (e.g., PDFs, KYC docs, legal agreements) with structured databases.
  

• Apply AI tools (e.g., NLP, classification models) to extract and validate data fields from onboarding documents.
  

• Build and maintain internal dashboards for onboarding status, SLA tracking, and exception handling.
  

2. Ongoing Relationship Reporting

• Develop scalable infrastructure to monitor and report on counterparty health, activity, and operational metrics.
  

• Automate periodic document review triggers and integrate with internal tools.
  

• Build dashboards and reports that track service-level metrics, disputes, and the expiration of agreements, among other key metrics.
  

• Maintain audit trails and data lineage to support internal and external oversight.
  

3. Data Infrastructure & Integration

• Design and manage a clean, queryable data layer across onboarding, legal, operational, and financial data.
  

• Collaborate with internal tech teams to ensure secure and scalable data pipelines.
  

• Support integration with CRM and document automation tools.

Qualifications:

• 47 years’ experience in data engineering, operations automation, or AI/ML in a financial services environment.
  

• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and workflow automation tools (e.g., Airflow, Alteryx, or similar).
  

• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  

• Experience deploying OCR/NLP tools for document parsing (e.g., Tesseract, Azure Form Recognizer, GPT APIs).
  

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
