As a PowerBI developer (6 month engagement - until the end of 2025) at Space Inch, you’ll help our client, a global FinTech company, build out their PowerBI reporting, supporting their internal team by providing and building the right PowerBI solutions.

Requirements

5+ years in PowerBI development role
Experience working with financial data and financial institutions
Familiarity with investment banking and data structures (portfolios, transactions, trades etc.)
Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, data modeling with Power BI
Hands-on experience in integrating PowerBI to various data sources: SQL databases, APIs, cloud platforms, etc.
Experience working with large, complex datasets
Experience with reports optimization
Deep understanding of ETL processes
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with version control tools

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain (new and existing) PowerBI reports and dashboards to support investment decision making and bring valuable insights in investment fintech sector
Integrate Power BI with various different data sources (SQL databases, APIs, cloud-based systems, Excel and proprietary financial systems)
Build, maintain and manage data models (DAX, Power Query)
Optimize reports performances
Collaborate with developers and business analysts as well as business stakeholders to translate requirements into interactive dashboards
