TeamFeePay – Data Analyst Job Description

We’re currently recruiting a Data Analyst to join our team!

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our growing team and help shape the future of data-driven decision-making at TeamFeePay. Reporting directly to the CIO, the successful candidate will support the development of a central reporting function and provide insightful, actionable analysis to key departments across the company.

This role will work closely with our Data Architect and collaborate with teams including Sales & Marketing, Onboarding, Account Management, Customer Success, Finance, and HR.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of a centralised reporting infrastructure using Tableau or Power BI.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and visualisations that deliver actionable insights across the business.
  • Extract, clean, and transform data from systems such as Salesforce, Xero, Stripe, Heroku, and JIRA.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into meaningful reports and KPIs.
  • Present insights to department leads to enable informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Perform data validation and ensure integrity across reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with the Data Architect on modelling and integration into the wider data platform.


Key Platforms & Tools
  • BI Tools: Tableau or Power BI (experience in either or equivalent essential)
  • CRM: Salesforce

  • Finance & Payments: Xero, Stripe
  • Product Hosting: Heroku
  • Project Management: JIRA
  • Other: Excel, Google Sheets, SQL
Essential Skills
  • Proven experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role.
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or a similar visualisation tool.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and other key systems listed above.
  • Strong communication skills — able to distil complex data into insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
Desirable Skills 
  • Background in a SaaS, sports, education, or payments business.
  • Understanding of Customer Success or Onboarding KPIs and metrics.
  • Experience working with payment data or financial reporting platforms.
  • Familiarity with Heroku-hosted environments and cross-functional work with engineering teams.
