SW QA Engineer

Description

Nova is looking for a QA Engineer to join our agile modeling software team.

In this role, you will be responsible for manual quality assurance of Nova’s products, which incorporate next-generation algorithms, machine learning, and multidisciplinary systems.

A background in automation is an advantage.

Role Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

• Actively contribute as a QA Engineer within an agile modeling software team.
• Be a focal point to collect the needed background and data to simulate high level tests that are close to customer need.
• Participate in all phases of the software development and release lifecycle.
• Develop deep QA expertise in Nova’s systems to identify risks and propose software quality improvements during feature development.
• Define and implement testing strategies tailored to Nova’s software architecture and development goals.
• Create, document, and execute both high-level and detailed test plans.
• Collaborate with the team to define and maintain automated regression tests.
• Plan and execute beta testing activities, including on-site support at customer locations when required.
• Investigate test failures, analyze root causes, and define corrective actions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in scientific or engineering role (System engineer, Application Engineer, Algorithms validation, etc.)
• Experience with programming\scripting (Python\C#\VB\Other) – Advantage
• High level of Excel usages for data processing and analyzing
• Experience In testing multidisciplinary systems (complex SW & HW systems) – preferred in semiconductor industry.
