What is Expert App Growth?

We are looking for a data-driven, growth-obsessed Expert App Growth to lead user acquisition, retention, and monetization initiatives across JazzCash’s consumer app. This role requires a unique blend of analytical rigor, growth marketing acumen, and cross-functional leadership. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in growing large-scale consumer apps in fast-paced environments. This is an individual contributor role that reports directly to the “Head of Growth” in JazzCash.

What does Expert App Growth do?

User Growth & Engagement

• Own and execute the app growth strategy across the full funnel (Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Revenue, and Referral).
• Drive Monthly Active User (MAU) growth while maintaining a strong ROI, having full ownership of paid and organic growth levers.
• Lead experimentation for in-app engagement and retention using segmentation, journeys, and personalized communication.

Data & Analytics

• Build and maintain dashboards using tools like Mixpanel, Firebase, and Google Data Studio to track growth KPIs.
• Lead cohort and funnel analysis to understand drop-offs, churn patterns, and key drivers of LTV.
• Leverage data science (e.g., K-Means clustering, Prophet models) for churn prediction, user segmentation, and campaign optimization.

Product-Led Growth

• Collaborate with Product, Tech, and CX teams to shape the user journey, reduce friction in onboarding, and drive feature adoption.
• Implement clickable push notifications and deep linking to drive specific in-app behaviors.
• Drive initiatives such as in-app ad monetization, projected to generate PKR 600M+ annually.

Leadership & Strategy

• Mentor a team of growth analysts and marketing specialists.
• Contribute to annual strategy planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Influence senior stakeholders and represent the growth agenda in cross-functional forums.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be an Expert App Growth?

Must have:

• 5–7 years of experience in App Growth, Digital Marketing, or Product-Led Growth, ideally in fintech, telecom, or e-commerce.
• Hands-on expertise with analytics platforms (Mixpanel, Firebase, AppsFlyer), CRM tools, and ad platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok).
• Strong grasp of Excel, cohort modeling, LTV frameworks, and predictive analytics.
• Experience managing large-scale campaigns with budget accountability.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and thrive in high-stakes, fast-growth environments.

Good to have:

• Experience with in-app monetization models or ad-tech integrations.
• Familiarity with agile product development and experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, MVPs).
• Prior experience in managing fraud mitigation or retention automation at scale.
• Hands on SQL and Python experience
